The plasma contains no preservatives or stabilizers to ensure a complete comparability with patient's test plasma and is very stable once reconstituted (48 hours). The plasma is externally calibrated for all widely used PT, aPTT and fibrinogen reagents to provide independent consensus values with confidence limits.
