APC Resistance Kit [CE]
The APC Resistance Kit is a clotting assay for determination of APC resistance caused by the FV Leiden mutation. It is based on a F V dependent prothrombin activator isolated from snake venom. The APC Resistance Kit is a functional assay that differs from other functional APC resistance tests as it acts on the level of the prothrombinase complex. Robustness of the assay is achieved by eliminating possible interfering influences from factors down-stream of the prothrombinase complex and its independency from added calcium.
